Protection and Safety

A web-based training course conducted in the nuclear power plants' training portal. Completed course is valid in three years.

This training provides important information about such areas as work environment, alarms and preparedness and physical protection, and it must be completed by all personnel in order to gain access to the site. The training consists of several course modules, plant specific information for the respective plants, and a final test which takes approximately 90 minutes to complete. The course is available in Swedish and English.

This course must be completed in due time prior to your arrival at OKG. After completing the training, a certificate must be submitted to the central checkpoint reception at OKG. This certificate together with the drug test, check of public records and the pre-registration make up the documents required in order to gain access/receive your ID key card.

If you need, but do not have access, to a certificate of training that has been completed before October 6th 2020, notify the central checkpoint reception at OKG.

Please note!

Completed and valid Protection and Safety is a condition in order to have access through the security checks at OKG. The ID key cards are linked to the date the employee last passed the Safety and Security training, and if this dates back more than three years, or if registration of training is missing, the card will be blocked for access.

To cause as little disruption as possible, we ask you to check the validity of your Safety and Security training and if necessary update the training in the nuclear power plant's training portal.
