OKG is a proud supplier of fossil-free electricity - produced via nuclear power! The company, with its almost 600 employees, is located on the Simpevarpshalvön about 30 km north of Oskarshamn, with a fantastic view of Kalmarsund and Blå Jungfrun. Here are three of Sweden's nuclear power reactors, Oskarshamnsverket 1, 2 and 3, which in everyday speech are called O1, O2 and O3.
For a long time, OKG only had one mission - to produce electricity in a climate-efficient way. But since a couple of years ago, the task of taking care of the dismantling of the two shut-down reactors is also included.
Our business affects many people! In order to earn the trust of those around us, we must conduct our business responsibly. In many cases, it is about conducting it in a way that is a little better than what is expected.
