Press Release: Oskarshamn 1 Restarted after Short Interruption

On Thursday, 17 June, Oskarshamn 1 (O1) was reconnected to the grid following the short operational interruption which lasted somewhat more than a week.

On 6 June, Oskarshamn 1 scrammed following problems with the turbine regulator. Investigations have been carried out in order to come to terms with the problem and measures have been implemented on the revolution indication of the turbine regulator. Its measurement equipment has been supplemented in order to enable analysis during operation. Following connection to the grid Oskarshamn 1 will remain in test operations where continued surveillance will be carried out.

During the interruption some maintenance measures, which require non-operational mode, have been carried out.
