Correcting the problems with a valve in the conventional turbine equipment means that the planned restart of unit Oskarshamn 1 (O1) is now scheduled to take place at the end of the week.

In connection with the start-up of unit O1 after the annual outage had been completed, a leaky turbine valve was detected. It has been assessed that the repair work in progress will take just about a week to complete, and at present the restart of the unit is scheduled to take place on this coming Friday. The outage started at the beginning of April and all the scheduled work was completed in accordance with the established timetable. However, additional work such as the problems with this turbine valve, means that the restart is now planned to take place two weeks later than stated in the original timetable.
